About Our Company
Lakaye Studio is a small, privately-owned manufacturing company dedicated to offering the finest, safest, easiest henna body painting kits in the world. The company opened the first henna studio in the United States in 1997; and co-owner Carine Fabius wrote the first published book on henna in the U.S.
Using superior-quality natural henna purchased year after year from the same grower in Morocco, our company worked day and night for months to come up with a natural henna paste that would stay fresh for four weeks once mixed, as opposed to three days, as has been the case for the last 5,000 years!
Our efforts paid off. Although many henna kits have come and gone in the past nine years, our kits continue to create excitement in the marketplace; and it is the only kit offered by the natural products industry, where quality standards rule.
